APU Services

Air New Zealand APU Services specialises in the overhaul, repair and testing of Auxiliary Power Units (APU) for narrowbody aircraft applications.

Established in 1968, we have significant experience in APU maintenance and overhaul and have recently invested in a new Honeywell-accredited test facility at our base at Christchurch International Airport.

We hold EASA and FAA release capability, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney overhaul approvals and ISO 9001 accreditation, which enables us to provide a comprehensive range of APU maintenance options.

Our Capabilities

Our capabilities include, but are not limited to, performance testing, overhaul and dual FAA/EASA certification.

We are a Honeywell and Pratt & Whitney Canada-approved service facility and are able to provide a maintenance or overhaul solution tailor-made to suit your operational or financial requirements.

We also have access to Air New Zealand Component support for LRU overhaul and testing requirements, to ensure your we are providing you with the expected level of service you require for the reliability of your fleet.
