Airpoints Elite and Gold benefits
Elite and Gold members when travelling on an NZ flight number operated by Virgin Atlantic will enjoy:
- Priority check-in
- Priority baggage
- An extra additional checked baggage allowance (one piece up to 23kg)
Departing London Heathrow
- When travelling to San Francisco, Airpoints Gold and Elite members, plus one guest, may access the Club Aspire lounge. Your ticket must have an NZ flight number and be operated by Virgin Atlantic.
- When travelling to Los Angeles, Airpoints Elite and Gold members may access the Club Aspire lounge. Your booking must be ticketed by Air New Zealand and operated by Virgin Atlantic.
The Virgin Atlantic Club Aspire lounge is located near Gate 9 in Terminal 3. Star Alliance lounges cannot be accessed when travelling on Virgin Atlantic operated flights.
Departing San Francisco
Airpoints Gold and Elite members, plus one guest, may access Virgin Atlantic lounges. Your ticket must have an NZ flight number and be operated by Virgin Atlantic.
Star Alliance lounges cannot be accessed when travelling on Virgin Atlantic operated flights.
Departing Los Angeles
When travelling to London Heathrow, Airpoints Elite or Gold members can access the Star Alliance lounge. Your booking must be ticketed by Air New Zealand and operated Virgin Atlantic.
